How much does a move to South Korea cost?

Depending on the volume of your removal goods and the size of the container, on shipment in lift vans or by air freight, on shipping to Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Suwon, Ulsan, or another location in the region, the removal costs vary considerably. The respective conditions at the place of loading and unloading and special packaging requirements also play a role, as do fluctuations in the exchange rate and fuel costs. In short, the costs are as varied as the removals themselves. It all depends. We'll be happy to explain this in person and provide you with a quote.

Would you like to pack yourself to save on moving costs? That's rather not a good idea for overseas removals. Containers are subject to strong movements during the long transportation time at sea. Moving goods that are not professionally packed and stowed may be damaged by these movements. Transport damage to self-packed removal goods is not insurable. An inventory list that is not prepared professionally can lead to delays at customs and thus to storage costs at the port. Talk to us before you start packing!

The Korean customs website provides the latest information on import clearance for removal goods.

Please note: Your removal goods must be declared at the customs office within six months of your arrival to classify as a duty-free import. There are often traffic jams at Korean ports, which may lead to delays.
